There's free parking, lovely relaxed seating, a lively Shebeen bar and friendly staff waiting to serve exotic meats, espetadas - (our signature dish which is a skewer of meat or seafood, dripping with marinade over your side dish), sticky ribs and much more. This is my second visit to The Loch & The Tyne We was greeted by Megan who made us feel very welcome. This time we tried the Sunday roast and just like last time it did not disappoint We had for starters bread with chicken butter this is to die for!!! Leaves you wanting more, along with the cheese doughnuts 🤤 The main we chose was beef wellington (amazing) good size portions with plenty of veggies, with a chocolate fondant to finish. Great value for money and great dining experience. A massive thank you to Megan and the team for being very attentive and for such a great service. We will be back.

Wow, what a find. We wanted to take our granddaughter and her partner for dinner and her partner's parents live close by. It has been turned into an upmarket restaurant, from its old pub (Red Lion) incarnation. The menu was really interesting, with so many dishes we would like to have tried. And all that we did try were superb! The atmosphere was great and thr service immaculate (all the staff were so friendly). We will definitely go again, and can't wait (not least to see Bramble the doggie who is seriously cute!).

Pleasant surroundings and ambience. Big group of sweary rugby types just inside the door slightly off putting but further in its a pleasant family pub. Decent selection and the roast beef was spot on and we didn’t have to wait too long. Less than £90 for family of four including tip, very good value these days.
