Sai serves authentic Punjabi cuisine with tandoor cooking a speciality. The spice range is broad, from minimal to high levels and vegetables forming the backbone of the menu. Wheat is the staple food of Punjabis; however, they do enjoy eating rice at festivals and other special occasions. When it comes to food, each region within Punjab has an entirely different preference, for example, people in Amritsar are particularly fond of stuffed parathas and milk products. The philosophy of life for many Punjabis is to eat, drink and make merry. They are lively people who are extremely fond of eating good food. In the preparation of Punjabi food, onion, ginger and garlic are used extensively to enhance the taste of the food.**NEW***SUNDAY BRUNCH 11am to 3pm, try Indian street food from different part of India with unlimited KADAK CHAI.****LUNCH****Now open for lunch Tuesday-Saturday 12-3pm. Fatto a Mano serves authentic Neapolitan pizza, sides and more. We use fresh ingredients in a warm, friendly environment. Our dough is made fresh daily and proved slowly, meaning we’re able to use minimal quantities of yeast and our pizzas are light. Our commitment is to quality, we use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas. We use independent producers as long term partners, including Fior Di Latte Mozzarella sourced from Caserta, and wines imported directly from private Italian growers. The pizzeria menu features classics such as margherita, salsiccia e friarielli, and diavola, whilst also featuring modern additions including lasagna pizza, homemade arancini, our own vegan ‘nduja pizza and scugnizielli dessert. Our Neapolitan pizzeria is in the middle of Covent Garden’s buzzy theatre-district. We’re a few doors down from the English National Opera, with a view of Trafalgar Square on our doorstep.

Today was my dad's 85th birthday, and one guest had travelled from Swansea just to join us for lunch. Having tried three times previously to dine here and always being turned away at 12pm, I was delighted that they had introduced a booking system. We ordered 2 small plates and 4 main meals which was too much for us. But we really enjoyed eating everything and it was almost like being back in Singapore. My parents didn't have anything negative to say. We have Nasi Lemak in other places so this seemed slightly above average. But the Char Kway Teo and Bak Chor Mee were much better than other places and we've not found anywhere else that has Bak Chor Mee which is one of my dad's favourites. The wonton mee was probably the least popular but our English friend seemed to really enjoy it so it was a success too. The waitress that served us was very friendly and very obliging taking photos a few times. I believe the manager also came over to speak to my parents and they joked saying he should open the door early when it's cold outside, even if they don't actually start serving so maybe we'll see that in December as we have a good friend arriving from Singapore to spend December in London and he is aware of this restaurant via The Straits Times.
