Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Haverhill

As always, an outstanding meal at the Red Lion. The staff were attentive and friendly, talking us through the specials and adjusting meals to suit. The food was served promptly and as always, absolutely delicious. This restaurant has fast become our favourite place to eat and cannot wait to return.

First time back since under new management. Great menu - not huge but something for all tastes and everything seems to be cooked to order. Good but unhurried service. Definitely go again

The food was outstanding as always. We went for the pizza themed night and they were delicious. The food is always so amazing every time we go and it can always be washed down nicely by a tasty cocktail.

Another excellent meal from the chef, Josh. Two of started with the salt cod which was stunning. I had the Monkfish in a mouclade sauce, which was suberb and everyone else at the table had the venison which was tender and delicious.

When we arrived we were greeted warmly and with a smile, got a table then drinks. We ordered food with a little wait which was not a problem at all as the food was plentiful and very hot, great gravy. Great to see dogs are welcome inside too.
