On the doorstep of the bustling Borough Market, the first Casa do Frango lies within a converted 19th-century industrial warehouse, a building full of character, complete with vaulted ceilings, arched windows and relics of the past. Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. The restaurant has become known for piri-piri chicken, with perfectly caramelised skin and a deep flavour which comes from a brush of Casa’s secret piri-piri blend. The menu offers so much more, with small and large plates all designed to share. Everything at Casa is made fresh in-house, using top quality, locally sourced ingredients. The food is complemented with an all-Portuguese wine list, cocktails, mocktails and Super Bock beer on draught. Went to Camille for a Friday lunch and would definitely go back - great food and service. Felt very French. Bit pricey but you could tell the ingredients are top quality and everything was perfectly cooked.

We really enjoyed everything we had. I asked for a slight variation on my main course, which was done without any fuss. The food & the service are always excellent, which is why I return as often as I can.

The Hostess (born in Hungary but has lived for 20+ years in Britain) set the tone for a wonderful evening. She knew we would like to have a round table (that was reserved), but noted that we were next to loud people. She went out of her way to show us two other table options. Loved her attention to customer experience. The food was great - especially the Baked Field Mushrooms and Grilled Goat’s Cheese salad. Artichoke dip got mixed feedback from my guests. Ribeye was also slightly fatty but well-seasoned so my guest was happy. For a table of four two courses with wine and coffees came to around 60 per head. Great service and location makes this a go-to choice for informal dining near London Bridge

Everything was absolutely amazing, the food, the teas, the view, the people working there. However we did not expect the 15% service charge to be added to the price. But be had a wonderful time and do not regret at all to have chosen the Shangri-La for our tea time in London.
