- TtimLondon •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWent to Botanique for brunch last Saturday. Can safely say in 46 years of living this was the best brunch I’ve ever had. I don’t normally write reviews but felt compelled to after this gastro spectacular. We started with the rosemary and truffle polenta, the accompanying dips were incredible. However the 3 brunch plates we ordered between us (no judgement please) were incredible. Wild mushroom on focaccia with sunflower ricotta was a delight. Fresh and bursting with umami richness. Next the Benedict, with silky smooth hollandaise, smoked aubergine rusher, crispy kale and avocado was insane. Finally the pancakes which the hostess kindly split into two bowls. Wow. These pancakes were phenomenal, with maple, fruit compote, fresh strawberries, coconut yoghurt and almond brittle. Would highly recommend. This is simply what all other vegan brunches aspire to.More infoBotaniquePrice: Expensive• Vegetarian / Vegan• Hove•4.7

The pineapple tart Tatin and the sticky toffee pudding is a must try!More infoFood for FriendsPrice: Moderate• Vegetarian / Vegan• Brighton•4.4
- VvickyjLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Nov 2024It was a wonderful evening and the food and service fantastic . The only disappointment came from my 18 yo daughter , her friend and my son who is older were ID checked and because they didn ’t have their passports or any ID with them , they were refused wine with their meal and any drinks which slightly changed the celebratory occasion. We don’t normally drink but on a special night out we would not have expected to have this to have been refused. I belive that they should tell diners when booking g that without ID they will be refused alcohol . Never has this ever happened before in my life time of dining out with my family. I am 56 and my husband 66 so it was a shock.More infoThe Ivy Asia, BrightonPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Brighton•4.4
