Beautiful fresh food, friendly, prompt service, good variety of plates to mix and match for the lunchtime menu. Refreshing change to a la carte main meals. Gorgeous presentation and swift clearance of empty dishes. Just Lovely!

I ordered a Rib eye steak, medium rare, unfortunately when it arrived it was very under cooked. I asked politely for it to be cooked a little more. It was removed and a whole new meal presented, cooked to perfection. Certainly beyond what I'd expected, along with a drink as an apology. We will definitely eat here again.

We enjoyed our lunch today, which was from the 2 for 1 lunch menu. Food was very tasty and the coffee was also really good. Overall service and surroundings were cosy and comfortable with very friendly efficient staff. The large car park is free and its a handy location if visiting the Etches Collection Museum.

We had a lovely meal the food was great the service was second to none a great choice of food and drinks

Perfect pub for a lovely dining experience- beautiful interior with 2 real fires - staff were fabulous , food was clearly freshly prepared and so tasty - we will definitely go back - we took our border collie and he was made very welcome / overall a perfect lunch out , thank you :)
