The Bateman Arms was built c.1750 by Sir James Bateman (Lord Mayor Of London) as a building where his Estate workers would collect on pay day.     An interesting train carriage venue served with food and drinks, which is absolutely unique. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the food quality and portions are more than expected; also, the prices are acceptable. We had a lovely time here.

    My husband and l always enjoy going to La Madeleine's restaurant. The service is prompt, friendly and attentative. The quality of the food and beverages is of excellent quality. It is easy to make a reservation by phone and online as well. This restaurant is situated in the heart of Hereford city. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy and inviting and for better weather days, there is a lovely garden to the rear of the restaurant. La Madeleine's is ideal for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. They have a tempting selection of cakes! I have no hesitation in recommending La Madeleine's restaurant.
