- JJustinBrighton •17 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Fig was great! We had fresh, healthy, and beautifully presented food. It’s great to find a restaurant that focuses on fresh, high-quality ingredients without being solely vegetarian or vegan. The menu offers a selection of small plates, perfect for sharing, and each dish is crafted with creativity and care. We tried the tuna ceviche, goat’s cheese and prosciutto, chicken salad, bean tacos, and cauliflower cheese gnocchi. Every dish was packed with flavour, well-balanced, and presented with attention to detail. The tuna ceviche was light and refreshing, the goat’s cheese and prosciutto had the perfect combination of creamy and savoury, and the cauliflower cheese gnocchi was rich yet not too heavy. The variety of flavours and textures made for a really enjoyable dining experience. The Fig is a brilliant choice for anyone looking for fresh and healthy dishes with plenty of variety. Highly recommended!More infoThe Fig RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Rye•4.8

- KKaiEast Sussex •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoNot usually one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to by the absolutely outstanding dinner my partner and I had last night for Valentines. I had the scallops to start followed by the venison for main - one word, unbelievable. My partner had the Carbonara to start followed by the Guinea fowl. - both, she said, were incredible. To top it all off we enjoyed some complimentary homemade breads, an Amuse-bouche and some beautiful homemade chocolates. Incredible food complimented by an amazing service, and ambience. Both of us are non drinkers and so it was nice to see some mocktail options on the menu as well! Genuinely couldn’t recommend more. We’re already planning our next visit, just wish we had room for desert as well! - next time!More infoLandgate BistroPrice: Expensive• British• Rye•4.7
