- GGailYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoOur first time at The Hawthorn. Was a lovely restaurant. Greeted by very helpful polite staff. Very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Efficient and professional. Pleasant and polite. I had the flat iron Steak with peppercorn sauce and crispy skin on fries. Absolutely delicious. Couldn’t find fault. Service was very prompt. The fries were the best I’ve ever tasted. My husband had the Burger with fries and he really enjoyed it too. Plenty of choices from the wine and beverage section. Prosecco was very nice as was the Ilkley beer. We didn’t have room for desert. Again nice choices from a traditional menu. Very nice indeed and we will definitely be returning.More infoThe HawthornPrice: Very Expensive• Gastro Pub• Keighley•4.8

- JJessLondon •1 review5.0Dined on 14 Nov 2024Gorgeous gorgeous food! The most amazing, yummy small plates. We came to visit from London and were looking for an independant, artisan restaurant and this fit the bill perfectly. Fairly quiet, but, expected as we were there mid-week lunchtime. Each plate felt so intentional and creative. Love !More infoThree's a Crowd - LeedsPrice: Moderate• British• Leeds•4.4
- RRooneyLondon •2 reviews4.0Dined on 7 Nov 2024Not as good as previous visits, but has apparently been recently taken over. Very disorganised, no drinks menus available, no knowledge of what was available. Drink spilled when delivering, but no offer to clean it up. Service very slow. The food however was good. Tonic water appeared in a glass, rather than in a bottle with a glass, which I found strange. The gentleman who I presume was the cook was somewhat dishevelled, with dirty clothes - a bit off-putting. Would I return? Possibly, but I think I’ll give them time to ‘settle in’. This place used to be superb, so I’m hoping it will return to that level.More infoThe ShrubPrice: Moderate• British• Brighouse•4.7
