- JJohnManchester/Greater Manchester •7 reviews5.0Dined on 15 Nov 2024When visiting the White Horse it is always welcoming and you immediately feel at home. A roaring fire and lovely staff. We both had a large plate and a pudding and the food was excellent. We had a seafood pie and a beef and ale pie which was a special. The tastes were out of this world. For puddings we had a croissant and butter pudding with ice cream and a crème brûlée. Again they were so different to normal fayre and a real pleasure. The combination of lovely ambience and special food was a lovely experience.More infoThe White Horse ChurtonPrice: Expensive• British• Churton•4.8

- WPWendyPDorset •3 reviews4.0Dined on 6 Jun 2024We ate there for two evenings. The menu is limited but all the dishes we had were of a high quality. The service was efficient and friendly. On the first night there were several large groups of men who became rather loud but as the dining space is quite large, this was not too intrusive. We also ate breakfast there on three mornings. The cooked breakfast was fresh and of a good quality. There was a limited choice if like me, you didn't want cooked breakfast - only 2 cereals, only natural yoghurt. On day two, the fresh fruit ran out and there was no white bread , at the time that we ate.More info1792 Bar & GrillPrice: Expensive• Grill• Shrewsbury•3.8
