- MmatthewVIPBerkshire •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOdd one this . On arrival surprisingly quiet for valentine’s evening . Place looks run down and definitely needs a make over . Food was clean & well presented so obviously the chef knows what he’s doing . Young team whilst not skilled made up for it with lots of smiles & quick service . Definitely would return for the food alone but please clean the place up .More infoThe Spring InnPrice: Moderate• English• Burghfield•3.9
- MMaraLondon •21 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFirst time at the Swan since it reopened and we were very favourably impressed. The ambience and decor are really pleasant and imaginative yet well suited to the historic building. Service was friendly and attentive, despite it being Valentine’s night and busy it was not rushed nor too intrusive. The menu was varied and interesting, and everything we had was delicious and really well made. Really excellent fillet steaks, and a tasty unusual panna cotta. The wine menu was limited (it is a pub after all) but good choices and reasonably priced. Overall a very good experience and we will certainly be back…thank you!More infoSwan - PangbournePrice: Expensive• British• Reading•4.5
- LLukeSurrey •1 review4.0Dined 3 days agoLast minute booking and a charming pub, limited menu but cooked to order and fresh. Mains and puddings were very good portions. Fish and chips and the burgers just felt slightly limited in flavour and seasoning which holds it back from five stars. Two adults, two teens and an under five. £156 including the tip and a drink eachMore infoThe Old Boot InnPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Beenham•4.2
- DDebbieBerkshire •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoFrom the moment we got to the pub we were made to feel special. The pub was packed with people eating, there were only two young girls running the bar and all the tables, and they were very capable, serving everyone with a smile. The attention to detail was outstanding. We never felt rushed, not left waiting. The food was excellent, lots of choices, and several deals, so very good value for money. We had a great table and the ambience and decor were just right. Left full and happy. Can't wait to go back.More infoButt InnPrice: Moderate• Pub• Aldermaston•4.7
- JJaneVIPBuckinghamshire •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoVery welcoming team, nice atmosphere with lots of full tables even though it was a Weds lunchtime. The lunch set menu had plenty of variety- my friend had haggis to start, I had the delicious gravlax and we both had an enormous plateful of osso buco which was tender and very tasty. We opted for a bottle of the Baussac which was recommended on the menu and enjoyed it very much. Just the right amount of attention from the team throughout. We had a really lovely time - great food, very nice surroundings, we will be back! Highly recommended.More infoLondon St BrasseriePrice: Expensive• British• Reading•4.7
