Best Steakhouses in East Windsor

Incredible experience as always! We had the pleasure of meeting and being helped by Adam, who went above and beyond to make sure we were set for a great night. He really set the tone and was wonderful in answering any questions and ensuring we were happy as the night continued. We started with the oysters and caviar which blew us out of the water! I had the pork chop and he had a filet - both outstanding dishes and complimented by the mashed potato’s and sweet potato casserole! Every dish was incredible, the restaurant was set up beautifully as always and the atmosphere was fantastic. We live right around the corner and can’t wait to be back!!

I started out with I think it was called Black Diamond martini. It was a pineapple infused martini and it was amazing! My husband just went with an old fashioned. We then had the tortilla soup which was very good. My husband had the tuna salad entree and I had the grilled salmon with shrimp entree. Both were delicious. We ended with lemon cake and the ice cream brownie. Our waitress was amazing! We loved everything so much that we bought gift cards while we were there for Christmas gifts. We highly recommend this place and will be back again.

Four out of 6 picked the filet mignon and 2 ,the grouper. all enjoyed their picksThere were a variety of appetizers ,sides and desserts ,chosen which all enjoyed The portions were large enough to share. we were 6 women and were their for date night to celebrate a birthday. Our food choices were off that menu. and this was about the 5th year we have celebrated there . We were disappointed there was a $15 up charge for the steak, but still felt it was great price for the dinners .

Exceptional food, Porterhosue was amazing I have been looking for a great steak house had tried many, service top notch wow! Only improvement I’d recommend is expanding your craft beer menu.

Server Merve provided perfect service, knowledgeable of the menu and good at matching menu items with our taste and interest. The experience was delightful, food was excellent. Don’t forget to leave room for the chocolate moose cake! If you’re going to Char Stake House, do yourself a favor and ask to be seated in Merve’s section to ensure that you have the best possible experience Char can provide!
