- RRituChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined todayPizza Portofino is one of my favorite spots in the city. The garlic bread and truffle pizza (request hot honey, trust me) are GAME CHANGER. I went with a few friends and we all agreed that they both redefined garlic bread and pizza (at least in Illinois) respectively. Great service and great vibes!More infoPizzeria PortofinoPrice: Expensive• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.7

I got an email earlier this week asking for the name of the person we were celebrating and what milestone birthday it was, which I appreciated and happily provided. Although the gesture was greatly appreciated, they didn’t provide anything specific so unsure what that info was needed for. Anyhow, upon arrival, our server acknowledged we were there for a special occasion which added a nice personalized touch. One minor thing is that we wished our food didn’t come out SO quickly lol but overall everything was fantastic. Service was great and we noticed how happy the staff all seemed to be working there. Will certainly be back!More infoRPM SeafoodPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• River North (Chicago)•4.6

We went there expecting a very special dinner and celebration for our daughter's 21st birthday and it did not disappoint. I'd especially like to point out our service, as service can make or break an experience. Our server was EXCELLENT. He was so attentive, knowledgeable, kind and went out of his way to make sure our daughter felt celebrated. Our daughter also has Celiac Disease, and he was so in step with what she could/could not have even double checking with the kitchen on the squash casserole--which it turned out she could have and was one of the food winners of the night! Joe's is a special restaurant with very high prices, yet when the service and quality of the food were like they were last night, it was priceless to us! Wish I could remember the name of our waiter, as I'd like to thank him again for making our night memorable.More infoJoe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone CrabPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• River North (Chicago)•4.9

While the smash burger looks unassuming when placed in front of you the second you pick it up you know it's something special. It has some serious weight to it and it tastes really and I mean really good. My wife had the steak salad and loved it. The sangria was very good as well. Overall a great dinning experience.More infoBar MarPrice: Expensive• Spanish• River North (Chicago)•4.6
