Best Seafood Restaurants in Little Compton

We went for Valentine’s Day with another couple. We were all thrilled with the Brie special appetizer with the pears!! Please add this to the regular menu as it was outstanding. 2 of us had the lobster ravioli special and were blown away with how delicious it was. We both commented that they were far and away the best lobster raviolis we had ever had. The sauce was especially delicious and so different. My husband tried the steak special and loved that as well. The accompaniment vegetable which was a layered ‘something’ which he could not identify was apparently delicious. The last of us had the sole Milanese and this was also loved. As usual the staff was excellent as were the views of the water. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience!

My girlfriend and I had the best time at The Reef a special Valentine's Day. She loved it. From the minute we walked in and we were seated, buy a friendly and kind woman. To our server, Sam, who was friendly,professional, and knowledgeable. Sam made it a great night with his pleasant and happy attitude. We had baked oysters and scallops for appetizers. For the entrees, we had filet mignon and lobster ravioli, and for the fabulous desserts, we had chocolate lava cake with gelato and a twist on regular tarimisu they offered a strawberry champagne tarimisu. The awesome specialty drinks a raspberry lemon drop and delicious old-fashioned. Thank you to everyone behind the scenes at The Reef for an amazing night.

WOW. What a wonderful meal we had at Jo's. The apps were delicious. The carpaccio was very delicate, not too much cheese so the steak was able to shine. The lobster bisque was so yummy. But the star of the night was the lobster carbonara. OMG. I have been dreaming about this dish. Truly one of the best meals I have ever eaten. We live 2.5 hours from Newport, but I will make the drive just for this dish. The drinks were also amazing. Unique cocktails for sure. Service was also a 5/5. I highly recommend Jo's American Bistro and cannot wait to be back. Also we came with a baby and the environment was great for him too!

We always have a great experience at the Boat House in the summer, and eating there in February was as good if not better! The food was excellent; as my wife, who has celiac, went with the Grilled Salmon and root veggies and I went outside my comfort zone for the pastrami rubbed swordfish on rye with some terrifc cole slaw...their version of a reuben. The service was terrific and the prices more than reasonable. A great night out...I couldn't believe how full the restaurant was on a blustery night, but we were in and out in record time.

We had a dinner outing for a group of our colleagues at our business, for our annual retreat. The restaurant was awesome!!!! we received such great service and care in setting up our group reservation, wonderful service, great cocktails and the seafood got rave reviews!!!! Everyone had a super experience, will definitely be there again.
