Best Farm To Table Restaurants in Kansas Speedway

We wanted an elegant old atmosphere restaurant since we were staying at a vintage hotel. The American Grand fit that atmosphere for putting us in a 30's to 40's styling. The staff was fabulous and the meal was exactly as we wanted. Sadly we could not stay for the Jazz show downstairs in the speakeasy Jazz Club. Next time.

Interesting that there were multiple items which they were "out of". In their defense the weather had been snowy and it was Valentines Day (though ours was a 5 pm meal). I was ok ordering my 2nd choice, but our neighboring table (tables are quite close so conversations are unavoidably overheard) was very unhappy. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our attentive and capable server Maggie. We will return.

Great food (we had oysters, scallops, and crab cakes), wonderful service (Caroline and Nicole are terrific!), nice surroundings. We try to pick our reservation times carefully as it is very, very loud and difficult to converse during Happy Hour and their peak dining times.

This was our first visit to The Brass Onion. We all agreed the food was delicious, service was excellent and prices were reasonable. There were 5 in our party and we each had a different entree as well as appetizers, drinks and desserts. Spencer was our server and he made sure we were well taken care of. He was the best. We were celebrating a birthday and the birthday person received a free dessert with candles and a card. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back!

Wonderful 5 course meal for Restaurant Week! Service impeccable and everyone was exceptionally friendly. Would recommend this for date night anytime.
