Best Farm To Table Restaurants in South Windsor

The staff here made my birthday extra special! The staff was so friendly and attentive and the food was phenomenal. I can’t wait to come back!

Never fails to impress me! I have been coming here since they opened, and as always there is something new on the menu.

Our server, Claire, was exceptional. We were dining before a 7:00 show at the Fox so we’re on a somewhat tight schedule. She accommodated our needs. The meal was great. One of the best, creative meals we’ve had in Detroit in a long time.

My comment to Dan, our excellent server, was that the food was "mind-blowing". Might sound a bit hyper but it's not. The flavors in each dish were delightful - really interesting and satisfying. We had two menu items and two specials between us, plus a made-in-house ginger beer and a novel (to me) Alpena, MI stout. Perfect. No desserts - we'll do that next time. We went for a late lunch and it was fairly quiet - but the layout and table spacing is such that you'd have a great experience even when it's full. The ambience is nice and the staff are fun. It's right next to the Detroit Institute of Arts and street parking was good - but there are parking structures nearby too. Also, the Q-Line tram goes right by on Woodward Avenue. The menu is so interesting that we have no choice but to go back!

We had a fabulous dinner. We ordered the cheese and focaccia appetizer it was delicious. We followed with the Alchemi salad which was filled with fresh vegetables and the dressing was light and perfect for that salad. We then shared an entree of lobster shrimp pad Thai. Everything including our service was great!
