We loved doing that, and watched how all the food was being prepared and finished. It's pricey for Portland, but we felt that the level of the Mexican-inspired cooking was so high, it warranted the price. Certainly one of the best experiences we've had in restaurants in a long time. Highly recommended.More infoLilia ComedorPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• SW Portland•4.8

You will have to come and experience it for yourself because there is no way that I can make the food they made sound as good as it was. Bring a friend and sit down in the urban warehouse they call home. We enjoyed it and can't wait to return.More infoHaywardPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• McMinnville•4.7

They do take chances, and occasionally a dish may not be exemplary but when they do they NAIL it!More infoArdenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Northwest Portland•4.9

Go for the wine pairings - they are a fun mix of local and international wines, with some fun pairings in there you wouldn't expect. Service was friendly and attentive. The Black Cod and Pork Tasting dishes were our favorites. Add the Jory to your list for your next special occasion meal.More infoJORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & SpaPrice: Very Expensive• Northwest• Newberg•4.7

I had the steak frites and my friend had the salmon and arugula and both were delicious. Our server was delightful and the drinks were good. I still miss the old Heathman Restaurant, but the Tavern is a worthy, less expensive, and more casual successor.More infoThe Tavern at HeathmanPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown•3.9
