Best American Restaurants in St. Lawrence Market

I have been to this new location today for the second time and everything was amazing. Had the luck and pleasure to be served by Isadora and Hannah, both extremely nice and knowledgeable about the menu and even got a complimentary dessert that was magnificent. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the amazing vibes, guys!

The dinner rolls and crab cake are a must! Cannot go here without getting one or the other. Steak Frites with the butter and the fries with garlic aioli was very addictive. The polenta needed a bit more salt, the braised beef could do without the crumble and could have more beef. The sticky toffee was incredible. The piano playing was good and added to the atmosphere. Highly recommend for a date

Burger was greasy and the poke bowl was bland, I requested soya and hot sauce to enhance it. Was shocked to see a $2 charge on my bill for the hot sauce. Service was great though very attentive.

Hothouse always has exceptional service and excellent food. They always treat you like you’re their only guest.

My parents and I had a wonderful dinner outing after my Dad had a conference nearby! Probably one of my favourite spots in the Financial District—hidden away in an office building which was a little difficult to navigate but found our way. I tried the PB Espresso and the Grilled Rigatoni Alla Zozzona, which was absolutely delicious. The dish was full of flavor, and the sausages paired perfectly with the creamy rosé sauce. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back!
