Best American Restaurants in Alton, Illinois

Steve is the BEST server. He really paid attention to our likes and dislikes and made great suggestions accordingly. We had a fantastic dinner and look forward to our next dining experience at Olive and Oak.

Hands down, Ramsey’s kitchen has been the best Saint Louis restaurant experience I have had thus far. From the food, to the ambience and passionate staff, this place is a cut above. Given I went on a Monday night for my birthday, the place was quiet, tranquil even- with breathtaking views of the Saint Louis arch and Mississippi River just outside. Yes it is expensive but you can tell care has been taken. Lastly, I’d say this is a great place for EVERYONE to at least try once.

It was a good experience. Quaint and private. The food was good. Will do it again.

Using open table to book a NON reservation didn't put our name on the list until we actually got there. What's the use of using this?
