Sammy Sushi is a dedicated sushi bar with creative house rolls to go with the more traditional options. The restaurant is run by Sammy himself, who is a skilled sushi chef and single handedly created the menu which he prepares every night. Sammy's isn't very big so on weekend evenings guests are encouraged to make a reservation as the dining room fills up quickly. Sammy's does have a few options that aren't raw such as the edamame and wakame appetizers, but for the most part the menu is made up only of sashimi, sushi and nigiri options. Sammy's has a huge selection of fish and seafood for its rolls and combination plates as guests will find shrimp, tuna, squid, quail egg, salmon, tobiko, octopus, white tuna, yellowtail tuna, scallops, egg, roe, mackerel and fresh water eel available to try.
