Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Chula Vista / Bonita

Always an amazing time. Such fun at inside out. The ambience the staff the good excellent, never a bad time when we come. Thank you for all you do. One request is to bring back the bolognese. So so good. :)

We had a fantastic time at Herb & Wood. Since we were both busy on Valentine’s Day, we decided to celebrate on Saturday instead. From the moment we arrived, everyone at the restaurant greeted us warmly and made us feel truly welcome. Our reservation was at 5 PM, so the restaurant wasn’t too crowded yet, but even as it filled up, the level of attentiveness remained exceptional. Our waiter, Troy, was friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations. For appetizers, we had the Sicilian Crudo and one of Troy’s suggestions—a warm dinner bread served with butter, honey, and herbs. I don’t remember the exact name, but it was absolutely delicious! For our main courses, my husband had the Iberico Pork, and I had the Roasted Branzino. The Branzino was packed with herbs and flavors—I usually can’t finish a large meal, but I couldn’t stop eating it. We were too full for dessert, though I wish we had saved room! It was our first time at Herb & Wood, but it’s now on our list of favorite restaurants for special occasions.

This is a 5 star experience! Our party of four tried four different cocktails, 12 different dishes and three desserts. Impossible to pick a favorite and impossible to select anything that was not exceptional. Additionally, the chef and team were super sensitive to serving any dishes that would be an allergy issue. So the food was glorious, the chef and team brilliant…yet the staff is what elevated the experience. From our two servers, their assistant, the sommelier and the front of house - one word - Brilliant. Best meal of the year winner

Wonderful night. We probably overstay our welcome because we were visiting with our son, but they had open tables and they didn’t bother us about it. The food and service were superb

Amy tended to our every need with jovial energy and a lovely smile all evening! The presentations and the dishes were outstanding from appetizer to dessert. Drinks were wonderful with no skimping on presentation or strength! Su chefs delivered our dishes and the manager visited our table several times to make sure our 36th Anniversary dinner experience was going smoothly. Seréa is absolutely worth every penny!!! The king salmon, filet mignon, jumbo shrimp, and scallops were fantastically flavored and prepared! Vegetables were cooked to perfection and dessert was unreal cheesecake and strawberries in a white chocolate conch shell! Top notch and literally one of the best dining experiences we've ever had!
