Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Monrovia

From our experience there, I have a couple of key notes - Our server Michael with the mustache was absolutely fantastic and had the table shaking with excitement every time he visited - the orecchiette tasted like the corner of an extra most bestest pizza - the gnocchi is rather bouncy and maleable - the burrata with rosemary and walnuts is not the best dish for individuals with an aversion to rosemary - the table was wobbling like the wedding song from the 2000’s - gelato tasted of creamy burnt sugar and missed out on dreams of caramel - the torta della nonna was akin to the inside of a cheese danish - our second waiter must’ve been having an identity crisis as he brought us water everytime we asked for more wine Overall pleasant experience, will be back again!

Highly recommend this place! I’ve been here so many times because the small plates are well priced and always delicious. I would pay more if they charged more because the food is that good. This is my favorite mediterranean restaurant in LA. We had the glazed pork, sea bass, brussels sprouts, mac and cheese, lamb hummus, and “the best cake”. The lamb hummus with puta was to die for and the cake is my favorite gluten free dairy free way to end any meal. Best. Cake. Ever. We’re still talking about this meal days later. The silverlake location is definitely the most beautiful one and the biggest with its multiple levels of seating within the trees.

Our server Rebecca took our entire experience to the next level with her enthusiasm and kindness. Will be coming back for more yummy food as soon as possible.

I could be the PR for this place. Been bringing many many groups and every time we were pleasantly satisfied in every ways. Yesterday though, we asked for French fries and they didn’t serve as a side dish. Only came with burger or a dish that comes with it. Not extra. Which was a disappointing.

It's a small place but staff was very friendly and the food was ample and very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their order, which included Greek salad, their combo plate, and Roquefort chicken. We had requested a quiet location and got one. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to hear the two musicians in the front room but their music was piped in.
