- LLisaSeattle / Eastern Washington •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFantastic food, incredible service and attention to detail! The merguez dolmas, kanpachi, pita, duck, harissa lamb chops and chicken were all scrumptious. Our most memorable dinner in San Diego. Thank you for a great evening!More infoCallie RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.8

It was a golden, gaudy, Christmas explosion and I loved every second of it. Drinks were great and food was incredible. Our server Tommy (I think) was attentive and helpful. We got the Caesar salad, the house salad, the roasted chicken and the short rib. The Caesar salad and short rib were our favorites. We waited a long time to finally make it in but we’ll be back in the spring for a new round of decorations. It’s just so good.More infoinsideOUTPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hillcrest•4.7

We didn’t have great luck with the clams, they were very chewy & overcooked but the broth was delicious. They took it back and a sweet manager, (I’m forgetting names) sent a hamachi that was to die for! Everything else that hit the table was delicious and we were very impressed. The bubbly and celebration desert was super appreciated as well. Honestly made my birthday dinner feel extra special, some places really don’t go the extra mile but they sure know how to impress.More infoHerb & WoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Little Italy•4.7

The food is really top-notch, and it's in such a beautiful place. The steak is a little nothing, but the fish and vegetables are what they really excel in.More infoSeréaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Coronado•4.6
- JJoAnnevipSan Diego •88 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOur favorite local restaurant! Our waiter warmly welcomed us knowing us from previous visits. As usual he was spot on in suggesting wines, knowing the contents of each dish, and anticipating our needs. And the other support staff did an excellent job -- smoothly orchestrating the evening. The salad we shared and ate every morsel -- lettuce, escarole, radicchio, tomatoes, cucumber, almonds, chickpeas, and green beans with an oregano vinaigrette that was so, so, so delicious. My husband enjoyed his pepperoni pizza. The branzino was divine! We finished with a limoncello and vegan pistachio ice cream.More infoCUCINA urbanaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Banker's Hill•4.7
