Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Scarborough

From the moment you walk into the inn lobby you are warmly welcomed by the concierge. The service and ambiance were extraordinary from start to finish and were only exceeded by the chef's remarkable recipes. We chose the three course dinner and every dish was meticulously prepared, subtly flavored and absolutely delicious! As advertised, the price is on the high side which reflects their uniqueness, their quality and their commitment to providing an exceptional experience. Topping everything off is their small but windowed dining room providing a wonder view of the ocean.

Exceptional food, service, and ambience. Having been to Greece and had authentic Greek food before, Magissa excels at Greek classics with a Maine twist. Would highly recommend.

The service was excellent, the waitress was informed friendly and responsive. The pizza was wonderful, obviously made from very high-quality ingredients. The fish and chips were very tasty and the Panini sandwich was also very very good. 

We shared a delicious roasted lamb shank with orzo in a tasty tomato sauce. A perfect dish for a cold February evening. I also had a very good taramasalata appetizer. Our waitress, was just terrific and very cordial, and was quite helpful in providing both of us with a taste of a couple of wines to settle on what we’d like to have. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Evo is a stand out restaurant in Portland, and one of the best overall experiences I've had in a very long time. The service, the food and the atmosphere were all on point. I highly recommend adding this to your list of must visit restaurants in Portland if you are looking for an excellent experience!
