Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Hightstown

First time there! The service was excellent and the food was perfect! We ordered paella and enjoyed it so much! My only complaint was sitting down close to others I felt like we couldn’t talk. Seating was just too close for me.

The food tonight was outstanding. Our meal was enhanced by our knowledgeable server Kurt? (6’3” football player) He guided us through the menu with recommendations that were spot on and helped me with my Celiac gluten free needs. The bus service was absolutely incredible. My water glass was never empty and our table was serviced so seamlessly by the bus team. I thought the food might suffer a little tonight because it was Valentine’s weekend, but it was superb. My only complaint would be too many tables with people cutting through our table all night but I understand the restaurant needed to accommodate as many people as possible.

I found this place through Instagram. The owner chef was in the short reel and his presentation was eye catching. So I booked a reservation for Valentines Day dinner with my wife as early as I could. The welcome when we walked in was great, the owner was with the host and makes you feel special upon entry. The rose he gave me for my wife was a nice touch. The staff was attentive and everyone looks great! Shout out to Omar the captain who took care of me and my pregnant wife all night. He made sure we felt special, while we noticed his consistent service throughout the evening. The ambiance was special, loved the velvety blue tufted booth benches. The music was a whole vibe, felt like I was in all the old school Mobster movies with classics playing in the background. The food was amazing! When I say you can literally pick anything from the menu and be very pleased I mean it. Apps, main courses, chefs kiss. My wife and I have steak on a regular basis so we went with their Mixed Grill and the Yellowfin Tuna, amazing! I need to go back to try every dish. Don’t eat with your eyes, you will be stuffed but guess what, who cares it was all great for left overs the next day. Theyre doing it right, and from the experience, I only expect this guy to keep stepping it up because he takes pride in his craft. We will be returning, most definitely a spot for anniversaries and birthdays to come.

I enjoyed and would return. I would recommend that they train their wait staff better. Our server was unable to provide any information about any dish we inquired about, beyond standard platitudes and “I haven’t tried it.” We always enjoy interacting with wait staff and when they’re good, like the cheesemongers at DiBruno’s, they take a good experience and elevate it to the sublime

At the entrance John greeted us! It was our anniversary and he was just so nice…. He made sure we were well taken care! it did make my day! Food was good and best was the chocolate lava cake.. which was not too sweet atall! ❤️❤️❤️
