   Beautiful mother's day lunch. The Sunday dinner was outstanding with huge Yorkshire puddings and a good variety of vegetables.

   Really friendly, welcoming pub with a great range of beers (and other drinks). The young lady running the bar was excellent, very efficient and had a good grasp of everything that was going on, keeping her younger staff on task as things for very busy pre-theatre. Food was standard pub grub, served promptly and reasonably priced. Nice quirky ambience in keeping with the building. Excellently placed for the Grand Opera House.

   Great service with friendly & helpful staff (Betty). Food was if superb quality and served surprisely quickly for such a busy city centre pub. Highly recommend

    A great place, service, staff and food was excellent. I had steak pie and my wife had the chicken kebab. Great portion sizes and we tried a few drinks , so somewhere we would definitely recommend and re visit.
