   Welcomed us as soon as we got through the door. Very polite and professional staff. Showed us to our seat at the bar before taking us down to the table. Always checked on us and was always smiling and put us first. The food service extremely good & the food and dishes was out of this world with extreme taste and flavour.

   Food is fantastic and wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall loved the experience. Brought my mom for her birthday and she had a wonderful time. The live music is a perfect touch. 10/10 recommend. Will definitely be coming back again.

   Food is very good, service is good but felt rushed as we had set menu and due to January, it seemed the staff wanted to close restaurant by 10.30pm (my first experience usually Qualino’s has excellent ambience).

   The service was fabulous and the singer and musicians were totally amazing. Overall although expensive it was a memorable experience.

   Absolutely gorgeous restaurant and incredible food - could not fault the dishes. The service was good however, we were told we couldn’t use flash to take pictures, but the restaurant is very dimly lit, so it’s hard to take photos without, which is a shame. Also, I noticed on the bill we were charged £15 for ‘music charge’ which is quite cheeky. This should be incorporated into the menu charge / service charge, rather than being a seperately billed item which then has service charge of 15% added onto it! The set Sunday lunch we ordered from was advertised as £59 for 3 courses, but it ended up costing £70pp with music charge, charity donation, service charge. Definitely on the pricier side, but I’d still recommend and go back for a special occasion.

   Starters and mains were very good. Dessert a little bland in comparison to other visits. Good overall experience and singer was excellent.

   My first time at Quaglinos didn’t disappoint, the atmosphere was brilliant, the restaurant was a lovely layout, the toilets were exceptionally clean. However, it did take around 15-20 minutes for a drink and the food was a little overcooked.

   We dined for my father’s birthday last night and sadly, the entire evening was ruined. We opted for the roasted duck at £60 pp between two and it was dry and overcooked. We couldn’t eat the breast it was so unpleasant. My husband ordered a steak and chips, which was again overcooked and covered in a garlic butter (he had not ordered a sauce). The chips were cold. And our waiter knocked a bottle of water over my mother. We have visited Quaglinos for many years but after last night, we will not return. We were hugely disappointed and I must say this is no longer a highly regarded restaurant in London. It’s overpriced, staff are inexperienced and the food quality is simply average. Avoid at all costs if you are looking for a 5* London dining experience.

    Truly terrible table seating on arrival despite being on time and having made a clear advance preference (ie "not next to service stand"). Table offered was however indeed jammed next to a service station without even enough space for two guests sitting next to each other to be able to talk to each other as the service stand jutted between them. The staff repeatedly said no alternative was available and would not bring the Maitre d' to our table despite my requests. My main guest even refused to sit down or place an order and went to enjoy chatting to other diners whilst I sat on my own for about 20 minutes. The Restaurant perhaps was trying too hard to squeeze too many tables into the limited space? Situation was redeemed eventually by the wonderful Maitre d'. . Thank you, my friend! But it would not have happened without exceptional challenge...there was ultimately an ideal empty table available so i inevitably wondered if were we selected for the booby prize table for some reason despite us being on time, dressed to kill, and ready to join the party....maybe or maybe not...it doesn't matter in the scheme of things but still rankles. Wonderful band, atmosphere and our final table waiter was very pleasant and attentive. Can I suggest that a system is introduced that is similar to that in a theatre with any compromised seating (eg that has limited view of the stage due to a pillar in the auditorium) being acknowledged somehow at both the time of booking and on the day?
