   The only negatives would be no waiting area. We had a 7:30 reservation and waited for 20 minutes. Then our waiter was pulled away for an emergency so I sat with my baked potato getting cold without butter or sour cream for over 15 min before requesting from someone else. The manager more than made up for it though and comped our drinks and dessert. Wonderful food and definitely will go back.

   Wonderful birthday dinner. As always, the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Saturday night had a full house and the noise level was definitely louder than I’ve experienced before, but not so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation at the table

   This is not our first time in 1776. We come here for special occasions. We love the selections, service and atmosphere. If you want a great steak this is the restaurant to come to.

    We just moved to the area and I have been to 1776 two times. If you like quality steak you MUST eat at 1776. My steak was very flavorful and done to perfection (med rare) The side dish of lu,p crab meat was fantastic as was the appetizer of shrimp and lump crabmeat It’s going to be a go to for steak at our house
