   Food was excellent and the Christmas decorations help to get you in the holiday spirit. Waitress was great with quick service. The owner stopped at our table to tell us about the beer choices me and my son made, very nice. Highly recommend this place since it’s one of our favorites in the area.

   I always take my best friend each year for her birthday. The service and food gets better and better. We travel over 2 hours to eat there. The manager is outstanding. We always leave feeling fully satisfied by the food and drinks. Waiters and waitresses are top notch. The price of the food is very reasonable compared to other high level restaurants. Always A+ and 5 Star experience.

   We did enjoy the ambience and atmosphere; it has a lot of charm and history. The place was packed and it was a welcoming environment. Our waiter, Alex, was excellent and attentive. Now onto the important stuff: the food. To be honest, we were disappointed with the steaks. The key complaint is that there was no sear or crust on the steaks!!! WHAT??? That's the whole point of going to a great steak house to enjoy a great steak with perfect grill marks and a nice crust finish! We ordered the porterhouse and a corner piece prime rib and both were completely lacking in the crust/sear experience. It looked it the meats were sous vide cooked???? or cooked in advance and then warmed up without putting a final sear on it. Very disappointing! For dessert, the apple tart (which is their specialty) was undercooked and the crust was almost raw. They did provide a credit when we mentioned it. The creme brulee cheesecake was SPECTACULAR!!! It is very unique and actually redeemed the overall meal.

   Our friends holiday outing was fantastic . As always excellent food with many choices from awesome steaks to seafood . Featured appetizer superb. John, our server was the best. All round perfect evening while enjoying a delicious dinner.
