   We had a wonderful table looking out at the lake with a couple of weddings going on, it was delightful. The food was perfect as well.

   Went out with a couple to eat. Enjoyed every last bit of all of our meals. The bread often was perfect. Burger, scallops, lobster pasta and tomato basil rigatoni. All delicious! Will come back again

   Our waitress Kristine was the icing on the cake! She was welcoming, helpful and added to the enjoyment of our evening! The cocktails made by James were fantastic! The food was delicious!

   We were there for a total of 2 hours. In that time our server told us she forgot to put in our food order. We were never offered refills of our drinks. She barely checked on us. A table of six came in after us and left before we were able to, they had dinner and dessert also. We were not offered dessert. We watched the hostess pick her underwear out of her butt and then put clean dishes on a table.

   Our server Daniel was outstanding. Food was high quality and price point was reasonable. Such a lovely view, made everything taste better!

   I can't say enough positive things about 1878. Everyone especially our server Kristine was amazing. They treated my wifes allergies perfect. If you have food allergies you must come here. The view is great and the staff cares for you. Don't miss out.

   Very impressive spread! The service was great too! I felt it was a little pricey and I'm not a big fan of the automatically added tip.

   To start had to ask for a waitress after waiting 20 minutes with no drinks, then had to wait an extra 15 minutes before we got our drinks, the mimosas were terrible so my wife ordered a bloody was one of the worst ones I have ever had and mind you was 13.00 for a bloody. Food was mediocre for the price. Meat was dry had to wait for more to be restocked. I would not recommend another brunch there. We drove from New Berlin and was expecting way better I hope their normal menu was better than their brunch. Now I don’t know if it’s because we booked for 2pm but was not super busy so they can’t say it was due to that. After spending 600.00 would have expected a lot better.

    We went to 1878 for their Mother’s Day Brunch. It started at 9am, but we didn’t have reservations until 2pm. The food stations were quite messy and had not been freshened up or cleaned all day it seemed. Our server took 15 mins to greet us, then forgot to bring our water. She finally came back to take our drink order, but never brought the water. Half of our group received their drinks, while the other half waited for another 10 mins. One of the drinks, a glass of Chardonnay, didn’t come until we were ready for our check. When it finally came, it was a glass of prosecco and not the Chardonnay that was ordered. The food was terrible- cheap, bland and terrible presentations. They charged $68/adult and $28 for our 12-year-old. The server received a 20% tip that was already on the bill. I’m not sure if service was so poor because they knew they were getting 20% gratuity automatically. It was the worst meal and service we have ever had while eating out. Totally not worth the $375 we spent. My whole family was hungry an hour after we left.
