2 Spring will host an exclusive NY Steakhouse experience on Tuesday, February 11th due to the popularity of this event at our sister restaurant, The Chef's Counter at FOUR. The cost of this menu is $115 per person. Tax, gratuity & beverage not included. Supplements will be available to enhance your experience. A la carte menu not available on February 11th. To reserve, a $100 deposit is required per person, this will be applied to your reservation. Due to the integrity of the menu, dietary preferences or aversions will not be accommodated. Some allergies may be accommodated, and you should inquire immediately to info@2springstreet.com prior to booking. All reservation changes must be made no later than 24 hours and are non-refundable.

I have dined at this restaurant many times and always enjoyed the experience until last evening. Food was good but had the worse service from our waiter. Saw him when he took our order and when he slapped our check on the table. The first three courses were very rushed. It took more that 15mins to get the dessert menu which was given to us by the junior staff and another 15 mins for another waiter to take our order. Disappointed! Need to train these waiters. We are paying for food and service.

We had the 6 course tasting menu at 2 Spring. Every course was delicious. Compliments to Chef Jesse. We treated ourselves to the caviar service which was excellent. Our waiter John was also well trained and made our evening very enjoyable. I appreciated that they offered to check our coats. So few establishments in Long Island do that Was disappointed with being placed in the upstairs small room. The large room was taken over by a private party. The room was “fine” but nothing special.

When we were seated we were told of a special for the day, executive chef menu. Off the menu items. Was double the regular price. Felt like we were swindled. Most of what we got was the same as the regular menu. Not a pleasant experience.

This was not our first visit to 2 Spring Street. It is a wonderful restaurant and they made celebrating the New Year even more special. The ambiance is lovely and the staff was exceptionally attentive and helpful. I loved that they had 3 mocktails on the menu. Highly recommend the delicata squash appetizer and the pappardelle entree.

The ambition level of the food was quite high, but the execution failed on several dishes. For example, there were several deep-fried elements (flat bread and potato sticks with salmon) that tasted of stale, old, overused frying oil (think: McDonalds fries). The bread selection was also completely basic, not something you would expect from a restaurant that also operates a bakery. Finally, the vibe was just a bit "off" - the dishes came in such a fast pace that it felt like they had been pre-prepared in advance. And we were seated on the upstairs mezzanine where the door to the service room was open, there was an ugly white light on and messy staff schedules hanging on the wall etc. Not something customers paying 60 dollars for a main course should have to look at.

This place never disappoints. We went with another couple to celebrate 2 birthdays. The food was outstanding. Everyone who waited on us was lovely. One of our very favorite local restaurants.
