We chose 30hop based on location and online reviews. The location was fine, but the experience was terrible. We had a 7:30 reservation and arrived 15 minutes early. After waiting a while while they sat all of the walk-ins, we finally got a table outside. It didn't take too long to get our drinks and then waited almost 50 minutes for our food. When we asked about it, our server said there were 3 people in front of us - whatever that means. When our food arrived, we asked for the check right away. Our server offered us a 25% discount for the inconvenience, but when the check arrived, there was no discount. We needed to be somewhere and did not have extra time to wait for that to be sorted out. The food was not worth the wait, and clearly, the service was lacking.

Minus the bothersome flies while sitting outside, we enjoyed our meal. The food is distinctive with unique twists on regular fare like burgers and wings. If you like Asian dishes, they appear to be the focus and indeed our server recommended a rice bowl when we requested his favorite after our meal ended. Will probably be back to try one, but also will probably avoid the regular fare.

Our server was wonderful. The beer list here is very impressive, and prices are quite reasonable. We loved the vegan entree, yakisoba bowl. Although the menu states that you can substitute an Impossible patty for any burger, this does not mean that you an order a vegan burger. All the buns, including the gluten-free ones, contains eggs. In addition, the restaurant does not carry any vegan bread. They could not offer a lettuce wrap because all their lettuce is shredded. We ordered a plain burger anyway, and our son took one bite and said it tasted weird. My husband tried it and immediately said that something was wrong with it. We have had plenty of Impossible burgers in the past, so we are used to the flavor, and this one seemed to have gone bad and had a very pronounced odor. In conclusion, this restaurant is acceptable for vegans if you order yakisoba, but don't attempt to order an Impossible burger here!

Food delicious service great. Only complaint is I told them o was there and had to wait (which was fine) but then the same lady didn’t know who I was when I talked to her 3 min later …not sure I was checked in and if I would get a text or email when table was ready but it was pretty busy so she may have been really distracted
