   Lovely food I have been here several times before never on Mother’s Day before was busier which was to be expected, disappointed that for 3 people we were given a small half sandwich each , as part of afternoon tea , the scones were the best I have tasted but would of preferred more savoury than sweet

   Great views of Liverpool City Centre. Food ok. Service poor. Booked an afternoon tea for 2.30 pm and waited 40 minutes before it was served, despite paying a deposit in advance, despite notifying the restaurant that we would definitely be attending. You have to give 24 hours notice for an afternoon tea so why did we have to wait 40 minutes from being seated before our food arrived. Ordered drinks after 3pm which was part of their Happy Hour offer, but was charged full price when the bill arrived. A further round of drinks took 35 minutes to arrive.

   The afternoon tea was lovely! The below points are most likely due to it being busy, as I visited on Mother’s Day: - On arrival, we were waiting around for a few minutes for someone at the desk to seat us - Service was a tad slow - we seemed to wait a while for our first drinks - We had to ask for the cream for our scones, as none was provided That being said, this venue is lovely. Stunning views, good value and high quality food. Also, very clean.

   Very disappointed! We made a reservation for 6:15 on Thursday for my girlfriend’s birthday. After being seated a waiter came over before we had even opened the menu to take an order, we asked for 2 mins. This resulted in a 20 min wait having tried to signal a waiter over for at least half this time. 10 minutes after finally ordering we asked where our drinks were and were assured they would be over shortly. After another 10 mins passed I had to go to the bar myself and enquire only to find out that the drinks had not even been started 45 minutes after we arrived. We then had to leave at this point for a meal reservation we had made without ever getting a drink. Safe to say we were both extremely disappointed with the complete lack of service, and seemingly unbothered waiters.

   The service, views & drinks are worth coming for, We tried a lot of the dishes on your menu this evening, they were all lovely apart from the risotto meat balls ? That is something not worth trying, and leaves an awful after taste, but that was the only negative that could be found today, everything else was amazing

   As with other reviewers, we found the service poor. The was only one member of staff on for taking orders and serving food and drinks, although more staff appeared later. We brought poor service to someone's attention as positive feedback. They acknowledged they were aware of the staffing issues and are trying to resolve it. Therefore, to the management team, please improve your staffing issues ASAP. Your team were pleasant , but clearly ran off their fees and fighting to cope!

    Lovely environment but food wasn’t good. A bit tasteless for all plates apart of the dessert ( it was actually very good ) asked my drink without lime and it came with lime. Haven’t sent back but annoying .They don’t do single shot of Baileys just double shot, I am wondering why?! I would give another go but didn’t meet my expectations. Customer service was ok.
