We went for a weekday dinner, as we have done several times over the years. The restaurant was almost empty on a Tuesday night, which was a surprise. Our waiters, one female, one male, both were very attentive and professional. I enjoyed a salad that I'd never had before there, and my guest had soup and a hamburger, both of which he liked. My only complaint is that the lighting in the dining room is so dim, I could not read the menu without using the flashlight on my iPhone. There's no need for it to be that dark. You can easily see the TVs mounted on the walls with a bit brighter lighting. Over the years, the menu has changed at 38 Degrees, and some of my favorite items have been abandoned, but sometimes you can ask for one, and they'll still make it for you.

Had a nice Father's Day lunch here for a party of 9. Our server was very attentive, and food was good. Nice addition of some arcade games in the back to keep my 2 kiddos entertained. Beer and mixed drinks here is fantastic!

We made a last-minute decision to eat out on Mothers' Day because our steaks had not defrosted, and it was a bit too cool to use the grill. 38 Degrees has a new barbecue menu, and we all decided to try it. I ordered the brisket with spicy cole slaw and Tempura green beans. My friend and my son opted for two entrees; both had the brisket, one also had chicken and the other had ribs. Everything tasted quite good, but we all agreed that the brisket was excessively fatty. That was a disappointment. If I try the barbecue meal again, I'll opt for the ribs, pulled pork, or chicken (not two or three because, even with one protein, it was a large dinner. Our server was very attentive and apologized when our meals took "longer than usual" to reach the table. I prefer the rest of the menu to the barbecue dishes (I'm a grilled salmon fan, and theirs is very good), but won't hesitate to try the barbecue meals again.

Customer service was outstanding, the food hot the spot, and the beer selection was notable! We had a reservation but arrived a bit early and they had a table ready for us earlier than expected. Will definitely go again!

Pretty good place to grab a beer and food. A little stuffier than the Midwest pubs I'm used to. Loosen up a little!

Pros: -Their pork schnitzel is a MUST HAVE! Paired with the Isabella beer... SOOo GOOD! -They have GREAT menus for food and vast beverage options! -Comfortable setting. -Plenty of viewing options for sporting events. -Staff is friendly and knowledgeable of their menus Cons: -For a place with such creative food and beverage options. Their dessert menu is the only thing really lacking here. Their bread pudding is NOT good. It's way too dense and sadly not a traditional bread pudding. Just way too heavy of a dessert to pair with most of their very tasty comfort food options. *Luckily, there are plenty of bakeries, shaved iced and ice cream shops within walking distance for your dessert needs.
