I recently had the pleasure of dining at 42N at The Flats, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The first thing that struck me was the vibrant ambiance, which perfectly set the tone for an enjoyable evening. Whether you’re looking for a casual night out or a more upscale experience, 42N hits the mark beautifully. The food and drink selection was impressive, particularly their great variety of craft beers. I indulged in several and was not disappointed. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the pepperoni and hot honey flatbread—it was an incredible combination of flavors that I can't recommend enough. Service was another standout aspect of the evening. Our server was wonderful—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, enhancing our overall dining experience. As for value, the prices were exactly what I expected for downtown dining, making the whole experience feel worth it. Overall, I would highly recommend 42N at The Flats to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a great setting. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Great food and service. The hummus app and flatbread with cheese and mushrooms were outstanding. Easy in and out to Shea’s and 710. Such a cool space, but the acoustics were a little rough. Maybe consider some acoustical tiles to dampen the echo and sound a bit??

Came to try the food and drink the beer we had in EA before. It turned out to be Burger and Beer night for $15. So we went that route. Their burgers are all smash burgers- not my favorite but we tried them with a beer of our choice. Requested medium- but good luck with a smash burgers. Burger came out on homemade pretzel roll ( even shaped like a pretzel) the burger was crispy and well done. Burger was dressed with aioli , mustard and onion frizzles. It was tasty- but much prefer a 8oz thick juicy burger. Beer was very good. May return- but will choose something other than smash burger.

Food and service great. High Noise level and seating too far from music encouraged us to leave right after we ate. Seeking a more acoustic pleasing environment.

It has a very stark and cold ambience and is extremely loud. On a night that was bustling with events downtown we watched the hostess repeatedly turn away potential customers due to lack of table space yet the whole front of the house could easily accommodate six to ten more tables. We felt like we were sitting in a foyer rather than in the restaurant. That would also cozy up to space and acoustic tiles on the high industrial-style ceiling would do wonders to tamp down the sound. Our food was very good, service was quick and the hostess was very friendly.

I’d be really nice to find a way to like section tables away from the dj, it was really hard to hear my date when they started the trivia but the environment was still amazing

Fun place with some good menu items (mac & cheese, fries, salads). Burger and fried chicken both way over cooked. Want to love this spot for pre-Shea’s, but struggling.

Overall ambiance was great - a wonderful addition to downtown! Suggest the addition of a small chef salad, chili and/or soup and ice cream. Brownie dessert was a fail. Beer & wine was great.

Went for dinner and a drink before a show at Shea’s. The location for the theater district is amazing. The food and beer were great. It was a bit loud but not so bad that a conversation could not take place. Highly recommend!
