   The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the value was very good, and the atmosphere was lively, nothing to complain about. My experience was delightful, and will be coming back again very soon!

   Very loud, very warm. Crammed into a corner table beside a wall covered in sand which looked lovely but unfortunately ruined our clothes as we had no choice but to allow our arms to rub against it as the table was so small. If you had your arms exposed I would imagine it would be very sore rubbing against your skin. Service was very good but the food unfortunately was nothing special. Huge portions but lacked flavour.

   7.50 for mash potatoe is criminal. A quick look and top restaurants in dublin city center charge 6.00 max for mash. How some bang average restaurant can charge 7.50 is hilarious.

   Love this place! Looks like an old house from outside but then inside lovely booths and cool music. Great place for a Sunday evening

    5 Rock has a lovely ambience and really ticks the boxes when you walk in. Initially the service was good but once we had ordered, it declined thereafter. Our finished plates were left sitting for at least ten minutes. This was an issue as we were seated at a small table in the back corner of the restaurant. The seating position seemed to make it difficult to attract the attention of the floor staff. A request for iced water was not attended to. The presentation of the fillet steak @ €36 leaves a lot to be desired. Basically the steak was accompanied by a what appeared to be a lump of lettuce and a few mushrooms. If we eat with our eyes, then it failed on this basis. The burgers are very good & filling, the onion rings were a disappointment. Overall, it was a disappointing visit and I'm sure that the owners, who also operate the superb Blue restaurant, will take the feedback as genuine and honest. The real challenge these days for restaurateurs is to ensure that guests feel like they are getting value for money. On this occasion that was not the case.
