   Chef Jessica, Orange County Business Journal Chef of the Year 2025, created an amazing evening event of Pasoliva olive oil tasting starting with a special cocktail with drops of a special balsamic vinegar, served with or without alcohol. Next she introduced her new incredible biscuits, an amazingly refreshing salad of cucumbers, tomatoes, and mozzarella balls with pesto sauce with olive oil, a main course choice of fish or meat, and a delicious olive oil cake with the most amazing whipped cream and Strawberry Rhubarb puree that I've ever tasted. Be sure to sign up for her newsletter to receive notice of future events. 608 Dahlia is the most delightful "hidden" restaurant in Orange County. I love introducing locals who have never been to Sherman Library and Gardens, to the best restaurant in the county!

   This was my third time dining at 608 Dahlia, and each visit has been absolutely unforgettable. I first came for my surprise birthday lunch, then again this past Valentine’s Day, and today we celebrated my mom’s birthday and I truly can’t say enough about how special every visit has been. Valentine’s Day was magical! the atmosphere was romantic and intimate with live harp music that set the perfect tone. The food, as always, was incredible, fresh, beautifully plated, and clearly crafted with love, much of it sourced right from the garden. What made it even more special were the personal conversations we had with the chef, it’s rare to experience that kind of hospitality and care. Today, for my mom’s birthday, they went above and beyond once again. They surprised her with a beautiful rose and a handwritten note from the chef. It’s those thoughtful, personal touches that make 608 Daliah truly stand out. Oh, and I have to mention the biscuits…absolutely unbelievable. Flaky, buttery, and so addictive that we honestly could’ve made a meal out of just those. 608 Daliah has become a go-to for meaningful occasions in my life, and I can’t wait to return again.

   Amazing food. The butternut squash soup was outstanding, as was the quiche. Unfortunately, no pictures. Excellent service. Will definitely return.

   Great experience at Dahlia. Our first time. It happened to be a rainy day but they made all the accommodations to make all of their guests comfortable.

   The quiche was way undercooked unfortunately. And our waiter was super rude and literally threw the sweetener on our table after I had to ask for it three times. Very disappointed.

   BEAUTIFUL.setting. Quite crowded, so the service was a bit slow. In our group of 5, 2 people waited over 30 minutes for their drink. 4 of us ordered salads. They were difficult to eat with all sizes of lettuce etc. Not as tasty as the menu made them sound. 1 person ordered lamb. She said it was delicious. We will try this beautiful place again. This might have been an off day.
