The quiche was way undercooked unfortunately. And our waiter was super rude and literally threw the sweetener on our table after I had to ask for it three times. Very disappointed.

BEAUTIFUL.setting. Quite crowded, so the service was a bit slow. In our group of 5, 2 people waited over 30 minutes for their drink. 4 of us ordered salads. They were difficult to eat with all sizes of lettuce etc. Not as tasty as the menu made them sound. 1 person ordered lamb. She said it was delicious. We will try this beautiful place again. This might have been an off day.

Let me just say, we have been coming to this restaurant for years and spend a decent amount of time at the library events throughout the year as well. We had reservations for the Easter brunch. We have been here for Easter and various other brunches and lunches, always had been great. This year was AWFUL and we will never return. We had made a reservation for the patio, I realize this request is never a guarantee like every restaurant. We were there early and told the patio “was for reservations” then the hostess said “ if you want to sit outside, get here when we open at 11”. It was before noon. There were also several open tables we asked about that were being held for reservations at 2 and 2:30. So they would sit empty for a few hours. Odd. Our server was very nice but overwhelmed as she forgot nearly everything we asked. Everyone got sick from our meals. My mom was in bed the rest if the day after eating the seabass, my husbands’s stomach was upset as was mine. Thankfully, the kids were fine. My quiche (which I always get here) was raw. When I asked about it I was told that is how it is prepared because of all the cheese. So gross. No offer to actually cook it and charged for a 30.00 plate of raw eggs. This used to be one of our favorite places, super friendly staff. Not anymore. Rude staff and awful food that left all of us sick.

Beautiful setting for Easter lunch. Very busy staff, but everyone was helping and we felt very attended to. Food was delicious and so perfect for Spring! The biscuits are a must. I had the soup and sammi. Soup was pea and asparagus. It worked so lovely with the salmon sammi. We enjoyed the lemon almond tart for dessert which was not too sweet, clean and a great end to a delightful meal.

We had a group of 7 family members for a nice 11:30AM Easter luncheon under umbrellas in the outside garden. So convenient to have free parking in the lot behind Sherman Gardens. It was a sunny day, around 72 degrees, and couldn’t have been more lovely. Our waitstaff was attentive and nice, our table was so pretty with little throws (soft blankets) strewn over a few chairs in case we needed them. Beautiful floral China plates for the delicious famous rolls and cloth napkins. The menu features s farm to table, much of which are grown right in their garden, and my Dahlia salad with added avocado was just right. My husband had the flat steak and salad and loved it. Sliced perfectly and tender. My cousin had a nice size quiche and salad and enjoyed that too. Some of us had fun cocktails with fresh fruit like guava, mango, or pineapple (like Hawaii) and some had Mamosas or coffee. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed strolling the pretty gardens and taking photos after. I made sure we all said hello to the turtles in the atrium pond too. Finally, we all wandered through the fun little store and bought cards and soaps before saying our goodbyes. We’ll definitely be back 🌷🌸😊

This was my second time dining at 608 Dahlia, and once again, the experience was exceptional from service to meal. We celebrated my parents' 92nd birthdays, and Shannon made it truly special. Our dishes were not only visually appealing but also delicious. Chef Jessica deserves praise for her culinary skills. The thoughtful details, from the roses to Shannon's gesture of complimentary biscuits and dessert, were much appreciated. We look forward to returning

Rebecca, thank you so much for your review and lovely compliments on our cuisine, service provided, ambiance, and shout-out on Chef Jessica's culinary skills (did you know that Orange County Business Journal selected her as the 2025 Chef of the Year?!); we really appreciate it! We are grateful that you chose to celebrate your parent's birthdays with us and that we made the experience memorable for all. We hope to see you again soon.

The food was tasty and ambiance was great, but the service was very poor. We waited more than 30 minutes to get our drink and waited another 15 minutes to get our food.
