Offering elevated modern American cuisine by Chef Javier Lopez, 71Above boasts breathtaking ocean views from Malibu to Laguna Hills, along with spectacular views of Los Angeles and the surrounding mountain ranges. 71Above is a Michelin level experience featuring the finest ingredients, world-class wine list and craft cocktails. The Restaurant and Skylounge have a Smart Casual dress code. Jackets are not required however, no hats, athletic wear, shorts or flip-flops are allowed. Reservations are held for 15 minutes.

71Above features a 3 course Prix-Fixe menu for dinner only. We kindly ask all dining room guests to participate in the coursed menu. Please be aware, any seating requests are noted, but not guaranteed. WINDOW TABLES ARE NOT GUARANTEED. 18% service charge is added to all checks.

Valet is available at 633 W. 5th Street or Self parking is available under the building at 633 W. Hope Place. $15 for 3 hours.

A culinary experience for the adventurous omnivore. Reserve one of two booths facing our open kitchen for a front row seat as our culinary team creates your custom five course menu. This immersive experience is not for the picky eater and is perfect for Angelinos, visitors, and celebratory occasions alike. Each booth can accommodate up to four guests and is right in front of all the kitchen action with the city views behind. An 18% service charge is added to all guests checks and is distributed 100% to the hourly restaurant staff. Please note that while we attempt to accommodate most dietary restrictions, there are instances where we cannot meet every limitation including but not limited to, gluten free, dairy free and vegan diets.
3 Course Dinner with Hightop Bar Seating
Multiple dates available
High Top bar seating for our 3 course dinner menu. Please note this is a high table with high bar chairs for seating. These tables are in our bar area and can accommodate 8 to 14 guests. Reservations for cocktails only are unavailable at this time. Menu and prices subject to change. An 18% service charge is added to all guests checks and is fully distributed to the hourly restaurant staff. A credit card is necessary to reserve the table but will not be charged unless the party late cancels or no shows. Business casual dress code required. No sports wear, flip flops, shorts or ball caps allowed.

Took my wife for her birthday and it was amazing, the service was so good and everyone was so friendly and polite to us. We were able to get window seats and the view was unreal. Definitely coming back again soon. P.S Food 100/10 👍🏻👍🏻

Didn't get a window unfortunately, but the view was okay. Love LA but at night this view was just meh, flat as far as you can see with lots of lights. Not particularly interesting, maybe better at day. My main dish was nice the rest was pretty forgettable. I don't mind some noise, and overall it wasn't that noisy, but the table next to us was very loud as they progressively got a few more drinks in them. Didn't feel appropriate for the restaurant. I am glad I did it once, but I wouldn't do this place again. In my opinion not worth the price, there are better options out there.

The experience and 71 above was great. The atmosphere was awesome clean staff was amazing view was great. Sing the chefs cook and prep. The plates was an amazing experience. I will definitely be coming back. The food was great tasted amazing definitely different eight out of 10 experience. I’m definitely coming back.
