   Let's start with the good. The restaurant location is beautiful, and it has a great ambiance. The decor is pleasant, but the rooftop view is amazing. We've visited this restaurant twice: once on Memorial Day weekend and the most recent visit on a weekday before the Thanksgiving holiday. The other side of the coin is the parking is awful because of its location. Your best bet at parking is valet or underground parking. The hostess and servers on both occasions were very accommodating and attentive. The food is not good. The fried food tasted like it had been cooked in old oil, the salads were limp and everything was over-salted, overpriced. It was nowhere good. The chefs must taste their food frequently to see what they are preparing for diners. We requested our food not to have a salt garnish after a few at our party tasted the overcooked old oil calamari, and our order still was salty. This visit was a repeat of our first visit, and we will not visit again. Once again our hostess, and server were great.

   Last night was our first time ever going up to the roof at Ponce and dining at 9 mile. My stepsons were in town and it was everyone’s first time ever going to Atlanta and I wanted to give them the best experience and you guys hit it out of the park. I’m trying to recall our servers name. She was wonderful and very accommodating, super sweet and it was only her second day and she did amazing. Me and my husband are definitely coming back for date night when we get a chance.

   The food, service, ambiance, and views make for a great date night experience. It’s also the perfect rooftop view for drinks with friends.

   Absolutely beautiful ambiance and all in all we had a great time and would come back. We sat in the outside area with a beautiful view of the city and because it was cold out, it was enclosed and heated so very cozy. The drinks were great (note: they don’t have fountain drinks) and the food got mixed reviews- this could have been because of many factors. Okay, the sea bass, steak, macaroni and spinach dip were all excellent. Moderate / thumbs down reviews for the wings, lemon pepper salmon, crispy Brussel sprouts and tortellini (tortelloni?). Service was generally good but there were times when our server went MIA - we had to wait on things like ice, extra silverware and requested sauces. We had a group of 9 and paying individual checks was a breeze. Again, it wasn’t 100% but we will be back again 👏🏽

    Brandon was an excellent server. He was training another server and his attention to both ensuring a quality customer experience as well as an effective employee training was apparent. The salmon was fantastic, and the spinach + artichoke dip was a great start. If you’re around during the holidays, ask about the off menu egg nog cocktail!
