   2nd visit this month. Not the best experience this time. The salmon was blackened and overcooked was in pieces terrible. It was so dark hard to see what went on there. Charged for extra bread with the apps? Wow. Lobster salad chewy, dirty pasta was ok, chicken piccata only good dish. Server was good not great won’t be back for a long time too many good options in Newport.

   We come here consistently and love it. However, the hostess last night was incredibly unprofessional and immature. We arrived to our reservation on time and our table wasn’t ready, along with our special request not being accommodated. The restaurant wasn’t busy and there wasn’t a valid reason to not be prepared. The hostess was more concerned with giving attitude rather than doing her job. Such a disappointing interaction, and something I would expect at a much lower class restaurant, not A Crystal Cove. Hopefully management reconsiders their choices in hiring people like her.

   Excellent service and food - we had oysters, tomahawk pork chop ribeye and fried chicken sandwich- everyone raved about their food!! Would go back in a heartbeat

   Wonderful place to lunch as you’re actually able to talk to your friends and hear each other in this loveliest establishment! Good food, and service… maybe someday they will have a decaf cappuccino😉 other than that everything was wonderful!
