The notable Los Angeles Couple, Babette & Christian are no doubt living a couple’s dream, to be able to work together and married for over 30 years and loving it… In 2012, Babette and Christian birthed A Food Affair, a truly unique French dining experience. From the interior and exterior décor, to your plate, the Royères welcome you to their Provence style home. With Chef Christian managing and orchestrating the back part of the restaurant through his 40+ years of experience in the food industry, and Babette managing the front of the house, these two are the epitome of a successful couple. This dynamic duo is what this dining experience is all about, feeling as if you were already a part of their family.

This restaurant has been and continues to be a hidden jewel. The food, the service and ambiance is totally lovely and now they have opened a back patio. Time for me to plan a party back there for perhaps 30 friends and/or family members! Cannot wait to see how their brunch idea unfolds.

Outstanding Branzino and excellent bouillabaisse. Finish with the lemon pie with almond crust. You will not be disappointed. The chef always delivers a culinary delight. We'll be back.

We truly enjoyed this restaurant! The food was outstanding and so was the service - the chef even came to our table. Parking is easy and convenient too.

Amazing- first time came with friends because it was one of their favorites. I had the beef bourguignon-divine! Husband had the lobster starter and the Hangar steak special - he loved it. We shared the chocolate soufflé (worth the wait)

It is so nice to have real French food! I am over going to places that call their menu "French". Tacos and not French. This place is the real deal, small, quite, quaint! I chose to go entree and ordered from the Starters and Sides in the vein of Tapas. What a great choise. Go, it's a must!
