   The restaurant was quite busy and noisy, which was appropriate for right before all kinds of shows happening in the Civic Center area at this time of the evening. The food was pretty good, not great. Ordered the rock cod, which was drenched in butter and the greens underneath it were tough and hard to cut let alone chew. The pasta, my friend ordered however, was absolutely delicious. It was served with broccoli and ricotta and Cipollini. Perfect and the radicchio salad we got before was also delicious, although a bit over dressed. I think that’s the flaw with this restaurant -too much of a butter sauce or dressing can ruin a good dish. Overall, I’d give it another try but wouldn’t run back

   Nice venue , friendly host to greet us and we had an excellent responsive server. The food was just ok, the menu needs refreshing. The dessert menu was not appealing.

   food always good with very good value. only complaint would be that the wait person should advise diner not to toss the spaghetti vongole because doing so causes the breadcrumbs to become soggy.

   My friend and I ate here before the ballet on March 25. With reservations, we were seated right away. The staff is all very friendly and efficient, and their service is excellent. We never felt rushed, but we never felt neglected either. We had the tagliatelle alla Bolognese and the mushroom-ricotta ravioli. The dishes arrived promptly after ordering. Both were delicious, and the portions were generous. For dessert we split the buttermilk panna cotta with-caramelized meyer lemon sauce. It was light and lemony - perfect for a warm spring evening. We look forward to our next dinner here.

   We had a fairly early reservation on a Sunday evening, so the noise level was very manageable. The service was terrific!! Everything we ordered was delicious and well prepared. The server gave us great direction about various options, and we had a great time. We were going to a show at SF Jazz and were out in plenty of time, so they were efficient, too!! Definitely a great choice.

   We waited almost an hour after seating to be served our food. Ultimately we got our meals in take out containers without having a bite to eat of them in order to make our theater start time. While I am sympathetic to being woefully understaffed for a surprisingly busy Wednesday night, I will likely never go back. On the bright side, we did get served an appetizer of beets that was delicious- too bad we never got to taste the entrees.

   Well prepared food from a limited standard American Italian menu. There’s nothing wrong here but there is nothing special either. The tables for seating are tiny so that everyone is packed together, which makes for a noisy and uncomfortable ambience. The service was friendly and fast. There are probably a dozen places in the neighborhood with decent similar quality food and where you can actually hold a conversation with your table partners.

    Always delicious food and good service. New reservation system makes eating here less spontaneous though
