   Oh my, goodness! What an absolute little treasure this fine dining restaurant is. We haven't had food this good since we dined in a fine dining restaurant on a cruise ship 11 years ago. We didn't expect the servings to be as large as they were. That was a well recieved surprise. We had three courses, wine and beer during our visit. All was amazing! The service and ambience just added to the goodness of our experience. We will definitely be returning. I just wish we visited sooner than we did. While it was all incredible, it was the dessert for me! My sweet tooth was more than satisfied.

   From the moment we entered we felt cared for. The whole evening was fantastic. Our meal was delicious. The Octopus was especially flavoursome. The service was prompt, friendly and respectful. Thank you.

   Tucked away in a side street, this unassuming restaurant is a food lovers heaven. It really is a gastronomic delight and when in Townsville, I recommend you go. Don't miss out as A Touch of Salt will not disappointment. Food was amazing to say the least, the restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated and the staff all very happy and attentive. The atmosphere just elevates the food too. Loved our evening there. ATouch of Salt certainly has won our taste buds.

    Meal was delicious. Slightly overcooked. Had to wave staff down for a drink in the middle of meal otherwise attentive. Music a little too loud for a intimate conversation. Overall a great experience.
