afterEIGHT as the name implies is open ONLY after the EIGHT clientele departs. Entry is granted based on a first come, first-served basis as such reservations are limited
For those without a reservation The waitlist can be joined starting at 10 PM Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

Without a reservation to secure a seat:

1. Walk in and dial “8” on the secret “phone” to gain priority entrance
2. Or join the waitlist on OpenTable starting at 10 PM
3. Stay nearby for a text notification if a seat becomes available
4. Arrive within 10 minutes of the text. Seats will not be held

afterEIGHT is where Japanese precision and attention to detail meets western hospitality. The 15-foot vaulted arched ceilings, gilded in 10K gold, bathe the space in warm light. Every element, from the adobo wood bar, exclusive hand-blown Kimura stemware and bespoke seating has been carefully curated with intent - for you our guest.

Recognized by @Worlds50bestBars as one of the "11 Best Global Bar Openings of 2025", This eight seat cocktail room offers up unparalleled craftsmanship in a space unlike any other in Canada. The atmosphere is marked by 15-foot vaulted arched ceilings, bathed in the warm glow of 10 karat gold leaf, which creates an almost otherworldly ambiance. The meticulously designed space is a tribute to craftsmanship: from the adobo wood bar, its rich texture and warmth, to the hand-blown Kimura stemware—each glass a work of art, shaped by skilled artisans to enhance the drinking experience. Note: reservation times are subject to the departure of the EIGHT dining guests, this means on rare occasions a wait of up to 30 minutes may occur for seating.

Great unique cocktails, cool atmosphere and entrance into the place. Would recommend for one of a kind cocktails and riffs on classics

Exceptional service and amazing cocktails. Randy was wonderful: each cocktail had a story on how it was created, and you can feel the pride in his work. Thank you for a great evening!

This was a great experience, really enjoyed the cocktails! Service was excellent and atmosphere was top notch. There is not much available for food (menu is popcorn, nuts and grill cheese), but it's really meant to be a bar so that's not something I'd hold against them. I would say that I'll be back, but there's one reason that I wouldn't return and it's that they charge for water and also that they didn't tell us that. I requested tap water and was charged $8 for still water on the bill. My boyfriend asked for no water (he didn’t even have a water glass in front of him) and was also charged $8 for still water. I recognize this place is new and it’s expected they have some hiccups. I would recommend when ordering you be extra clear about what variety of water you want, double check that is what you are getting, and then double check your bill before you leave to ensure you are charged correctly.
