Agnes was conceived by two life-long friends, Carolyn and Molly. The name was inspired by Carolyn’s mother and aunt, whose nickname for each other is “Agnes” after Agnes Gooch, the dowdy secretary in the movie Auntie Mame who has one glorious night out - with disastrous consequences.
To Carolyn and Molly, Agnes represents the closeness and humor between good friends. Agnes strives to be the site of many a glorious night out – without the disastrous consequences.
Menu items are a unique take on classic dishes from the Mediterranean, delicious as well as approachable. Dishes are hand made on site, with ingredients available in our Provisions portion of the restaurant for ease at making our beloved recipes at home.
Agnes is the perfect spot, rain or shine – with a cozy dining room, eclectic bar, and spacious patio, everyone is welcome. We hope you'll sit and stay a while!

Great little place with superb food. The hamburger is delightful. The beef is a secret. Best burger I think I’ve ever had.

We ate outside on their patio, so the noise level was very low. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The price range was appropiate. What else do you want?

Menu items are surprisingly expensive for a place that serves primarily sandwiches and kabobs. The half chicken was $27 and was less than a half chicken… and $9 for potatoes?

We have been here several times. Food is outstanding, portions just the right size, friendly staff, GF and Vegan options available. Excellent variety of foods. Comfortable atmosphere. Great for a meet up with friends. Full service coffee - espresso, etc. Agnes is our new favorite neighborhood restaurant. Prices are good as well. Love this place.

All the food was delicious! Service was attentive and server was knowledgeable. Friday night at 7:30 was almost empty. Seems like it must be busier at lunch time.
