   Amazing Dining Experience at Akira Back! I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Akira Back! From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and truly above and beyond. The staff made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the entire meal. The food was outstanding, with every dish crafted to perfection. The flavors were well-balanced, the ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. Each bite was a delightful experience. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience, and I would highly recommend Akira Back to anyone looking for top-notch service and high-quality cuisine. I can’t wait to come back!

   Went to Akira back for my first time and wow, everything from the customer service, interior and the quality of the food was a 10/10. Chris the manager was super attentive and I had Jenn as a server who walked me through the menu, recommended options based on what I liked and was super attentive. The rock sushi was a 10/10 - best sushi I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back, thank you Chris and Jenn for making it such a special night!

   I recently visited Akira Back in Toronto for a birthday dinner, and while the ambiance was pleasant, I have to say the overall experience was underwhelming. We ordered a few items including the Wagyu tacos, shrimp tempura sushi roll, Jidori chicken, and the crab fried rice. Sadly, none of the dishes stood out as particularly special or memorable.

   Amazing food, amazing service, amazing vibe. For a fancy place it was well worth the money. Even though I felt like it was a tad bit more expensive than normal.

    It was my first time at Akira Back for my anniversary and I was taken aback. Firstly, the ambience is beautiful with a lot of attention to detail, a modern design and low lighting - perfect for a date night! Our server Rishi was extremely attentive throughout the night, providing recommendations, free champagne and dessert with a personalized anniversary note handwritten across the plate. She also was so detail-oriented as to fold my fiancé's napkin when he went to the bathroom. Three different servers made a point to wish us a "Happy Anniversary," which we were grateful for. Next, the food was outstanding! I would highly recommend the Grilled Alaskan King Crab (the presentation was stellar and taste was A+) and any of the sushi rolls! The tuna just melts in your mouth. Ugh! We also had the Miso Black Cod which was glazed in a sweet, buttery sauce. The Ribeye was good but not great because all the others were so unique compared to what we're used to when dining out. All in all, I'd highly recommend. Though this is not a cheap place to eat, it's so worth it for a special occasion. Also bonus points for the photo ops in the staircase!
