   Tried to book a table for 5 but couldn’t due to system error so had to leave a party member out. Multiple People seated after us were served first, took 15 minutes for order to be taken. Order came out incomplete and then when plate was taken back for fixing it came out without the specifics asked for but had already waited long enough at that point so took the food. We’ve been before a few times and this was not the usual, slightly disappointing especially as our last booking was cancelled by them due to building work. May not return for a while and hope they work out whatever glitches they’ve got atm

   Lovely breakfast as always but unfortunately the whole place was really cold and it meant the breakfast and drinks went cold really fast. We come to Alderford a lot and know this is unusual but it just spoilt it a bit. We left earlier than we might have done as we were all freezing. The log burner was going but we think someone who knows how to use it properly is needed - we have one and could see it didn't have enough wood in it so was barely at any decent temperature. We were sat right in front of it but it made no difference at all. It won't stop us coming back as we really love coming to Alderford, maybe just getting the whole place warm when it's really cold weather and someone being in charge of getting that log burner going properly and keeping it going would help massively.

   Staff always friendly and efficient cafe is usually very busy but they remain calm and capable

   Excellent service from Hayley as usual. Bit of a mix up with my booking but a table was quickly made available for us. Food was lovely and all the staff were working really hard. The disabled parking is in need of some help. It is really muddy and slippery, more so than the rest of the car park.

   The smell of drainage was over powering whilst eating which made for quite an unpleasant visit

    Stunning food! Amazing options and it tasted amazing. Nothing was too much, and all staff were polite and friendly. Great atmosphere, lots of afternoon teas being made and enjoyed by all. Fab experiance.
