   I was with a group of 6, and I chose the venue for our birthday dinner. The service was OUTSTANDING. Two in our group had pizza and told me the crust was awful, saying they wouldn’t go back. The presentation of the caprice salad was poor; large slices of tomatoes on an oversized plate with hardly any balsamic sauce. The Caesar salad was very good and the others who had pasta dishes enjoyed them. The strange thing was we were celebrating 3 birthdays, which I mentioned upon booking. There was a card on the table but we weren’t sure who it was for. One of my friends took it home and it was for a free pizza. A WONDERFUL gesture, but awkward since we didn’t know who it was for and then how do you split that. We just told friend who took the card to keep it for themselves. Beautiful venue as well.    We had a lovely evening, sharing the porterhouse special that included prawns and scallops. It was a busy night there but we were served immediately and courses were timed perfectly. Our only regret was that we had no room for the tiramisu!

   We've been there twice and we enjoyed both visits. A nice menu variety and all of our meals were wonderful. Next time we'll try pizza as what we saw looked great!

   Small room so it does get a little loud. Food was spectacular. Carbonara was one of the best I've ever had. Temperature on the meatballs could have been a little hotter but flavour was great. Will definitely return for another dinner.

   Great first visit, will be back! Went for our anniversary dinner on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Food, wine, service and ambiance were perfect.
