   Really good. Lovely food and service. Was a concern about recent negative reviews however no issues at all during our visit (except the accidental dropped tub of fries that was swiftly replaced 🙂) Partner loved the white bate fish.

   Waited 30 mins wasn’t full by any standard, £6.50 for a pint is very expensive it’s not London wasn’t asked if food was ok Definitely not worth £18 for a burger

   We were pleasantly surprised to see a South African dish on the menu. My wife is South African and I lived there for more than 30 years. We really enjoyed our Boerewors dogs, it was a great choice

   BY SOME DISTANCE THE WORST ROAST SUNDAY LUNCH EVER.SEEMED TO BE SOME MICRO WAVED PRE PREPARED TYPE OF FARE WHICH DID NOT WORK.FELT SORRY FOR THE STAFF !

   Poor service, including final round of drinks forgotten about. Rude member of staff with an inappropriate remark to me, in front of my Family. Did apologise after I called them out for it. It should not have been said in first place. Random chip found fin the bottom of a spicy cauliflower fritters. Random garden pea on top of broccoli with roast beef (no other peas Full almonds? in gravy on roast beef The place use to be full on Sundays/weekends and definitely should be on a special day like today…there must a reason it isn’t I found several reasons to avoid and go elsewhere for our next family occasion. Customer service needs a BIG review. How to speak to customers. Cleanliness also not great previous customers lipstick on drinking glasses. Very unlikely we’d return. As a family of locals, who been many times for many years, today was disappointing.
